Fort Hood is home to over 60,000 employees, and nearly 142,000 military retirees also use this base to access its resources, installations, and camp facilities. I will fight for funding of veterans’ health care, expand mental health resources, and provide comprehensive job placement and job training services for our veterans when they return home.

Eliminate the VA Claims and Care Backlog

Resolve the backlog crisis through a decisive, three-pronged modernization approach:

• Dismantle Bureaucratic Red Tape: Strip away administrative redundancies and simplify approval protocols to accelerate benefit delivery.

• Modernize Processing Systems: Replace legacy technology with state-of-the-art digital platforms to automate workflows and prevent bottlenecks.

• Increase Regional Staffing: Surge medical and administrative personnel at local facilities to reduce caseloads and shorten appointment wait times.
